Pregnancy and post-partum training

Your body does some fantastic things when you’re pregnant, so why not help it out! Our “Baby” programme will keep you in shape both while you’re pregnant and after you give birth.

Our personal training programmes for pregnant women will improve your sense of well-being, strengthen your body and put you in the right shape to give birth. For example, the programmes help relieve the back pain and tension that often occur during pregnancy as the expanding stomach shifts the body’s centre of gravity. The programmes also reduce the occurrence of typical pregnancy-related problems, such as constipation, heavy legs and varicose veins. We pay special attention here to pelvic floor and torso training, movement, posture training and breathing and relaxation exercises.

Post-partum training

New mothers usually begin post-partum training a few weeks after giving birth. Post-partum training is a gentle training programme that rebuilds torso, stomach and pelvic floor muscles. We also help you get back to your ideal weight. Working together with specialists, Jacqueline Michaud has developed a training programme that you can easily integrate into your daily routine, and which can also be aligned with your specific situation and needs.

Our approach

We learn about your needs, goals, any ailments you may have and your lifestyle habits in an initial consultation. We don’t just listen to what you tell us; we also take a good look at you. That’s because an individual analysis based on your posture, movement patterns and physical readings that we take can be very valuable for ensuring an efficient personal training programme. In this way, we learn what’s going on with you, and we then know what we need to do in order to help you. After that, we work with you to set up a training programme. Once you begin your programme, we regularly monitor your progress and adjust programme elements as needed. Naturally, our holistic premium personal training approach also includes nutrition counselling and personalised consulting on other issues, such as stress reduction, for example.
